Glutathione S transferase (GST) from Schistosoma japonicum is commonly used to create fusion proteins. GST-tag has the size of 220 amino acids (roughly 26kDa) and is fused to the N-terminus of a protein. GST fusion proteins can be produced in Escherichia coli as recombinant proteins and are used to purify and detect proteins of interest. The GST part binds its substrate glutathione. GST-fusions protein can be easily purified from cell extracts by affinity chromatography with glutathione resin.

Epitope tagging has become a powerful tool for detection and purification of expressed proteins. Epitope tags are short peptide sequences that are easily recognized by tag-specific antibodies. Due to their small size epitope tags do not affect the tagged protein’s biochemical properties. Most often sequences encoding the epitope tag are included with target DNA at the time of cloning to produce fusion proteins containing the epitope tag sequence.
Anti-epitope tag antibodies are useful for identification immunoprecipitation or immunoaffinity-purification of a recombinant protein.
Anti-FLAG (DYKDDDDK)-tag polyclonal antibody was raised by immunizing a rabbit with the peptide DYKDDDDK conjugated to KLH.

Epitope tagging has become a powerful tool for detection and purification of expressed proteins. Epitope tags are short peptide sequences that are easily recognized by tag-specific antibodies. Due to their small size epitope tags do not affect the tagged protein’s biochemical properties in most cases. Sequences encoding the epitope tags are fused to the 5’ or 3’ coding sequences of target genes to produce fusion proteins containing the epitope tag sequence. Anti-epitope tag antibodies are useful for identification immunoprecipitation or immunoaffinity-purification of a recombinant protein.
Anti-Myc (EQKLISEEDL)-tag polyclonal antibody was raised by immunizing a rabbit with the peptide EQKLISEEDL conjugated to KLH. The sequence corresponds to aa 410-419 of human c-Myc.

His6-epitope tag is especially useful because the tagged recombinant proteins can be easily purified by
affinity chromatography with metal ion (e.g.Ni2+ Co2+ etc.)) conjugated resins. Due to their small size
His epitope tag does not affect the tagged protein’s biochemical properties in most cases.
Anti-His epitope tag antibody is useful for identification of a recombinant protein tagged with 6X
His at N-terminal C-terminal and internal of the proteins.

Applications::::
1. Western blotting (dilution: 1/1000)
2. ELISA (assay dependent)
Not good for immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not
been tested.

Immunogen: : : : GSHHHHHHGGC synthetic peptide cross-linked to KLH with C-terminal Cystein.

Specificity: This antibody recognizes His6-tagged fusion proteins.

Form:::: Antiserum added with 0.05% sodium azide

Storage: Shipped at 4℃ and stored at -20℃ or below

RagA (313 aa 36.6 kDa) is the human homologue of Gtr1 identified in yeast and classified as the Ras-like small G protein family. In cytoplasm GTP-bound RagA usually forms a heterodimer with RagD
interacts with Nop132 to be transported to the nucleous. GTP of RagA is hydrolyzed to GDP by RCC guanine nucleotide exchange factor for RanGTPase bound to chromatin. RagA-RCC signal pathway has a crucial role in cell growth and differentiation. RagA is also well known to be involved in mTOR signaling via binding with raptor a component of mTORC1 complex in an amino acid sensitive manner.
Applications
1) Western blotting ( 1000~ 2000 folds dilution)
Not tested for other applications
Reactivity: Reacts with mammalian and Xenopus Rag A proteins.
Immunogen: Purified full-length human RagA protein fused with GST
Form:::: Anti-Rag A rabbit serum added with 0.05% sodium azide.
Storage: Shipped at 4℃. Upon arrival aliquot and store at -20℃.

Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. There are three members (α β γ) and two subtypes (δ ε) in the tubulin family. Of these members Gamma tubulin (451aa 51KDa) is found at microtubule organizing centers (MTOC) such as the spindle poles or the centrosome suggesting that it is involved in the minus-end nucleation of microtubule assembly during cell cycle.

SUMO (Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier) proteins are a family of small proteins that are covalently attached to and detached from other proteins in cells to modify their function. Unlike ubiquitination which targets proteins for degradation SUMO modification plays a critical role in a number of cellular functions including nucleocytoplasmic transport gene expression cell cycle and formation of subnuclear structures such as promyelocytic leukemia (PML) bodies. There are three confirmed SUMO isoforms in human; SUMO1 SUMO2 and SUMO3. SUMO2 /3 show a high degree of similarity to each other and are distinct from SUMO1. Individual SUMO family members are all targeted to different proteins with diverse biological functions. SUMO1 is conjugated to RanGAP PML p53 and IB- to regulate nuclear trafficking formation of subnuclear structures regulation of transcriptional activity and protein stability. SUMO1 is encoded as a 101 aa protein and first Met and C-terminal 4 aa are removed from the preprotein.

Applications:
1. Western blotting 2. Immunofluorescence staining 3. Immunohistochemistry 4. ELISA Other applications have not been tested.
